The 2021 Theological Symposium will be held on October 4-5 on the campus of Welch College. As the pandemic subsides, the Commission is grateful to be able to resume this important gathering as an in-person event.

Papers are presently being received and will be accepted through Monday, July 12. Papers (or abstracts) may be submitted to fwbtheology@gmail.com. Other questions may also be submitted to this same address.

As a reminder to potential presenters, we carefully consider each submission as we try to fill out our program. Having presented in the past doesn’t guarantee being offered a spot in any given year. Similarly, sometimes we have proposals which are of a high quality but that we must decline due to the limited number of presentations we’re able to accept. We hope everyone will keep these caveats in mind as they submit their proposals.

We have an “open theme program” this year, which means papers on any subject may be submitted. We ask that all papers be theologically significant, carefully researched, and original in nature. We look forward to hearing from you.
